March Madness Fun-Raiser for Polio Plus

RICHFIELD ROTARY is busting the BRACKETS for polio plus!!

March Madness is underway and the competition is fierce!

Our intrepid Bracket Manager, Jay Clark, reports:

Congratulations to John Devlin who holds sole possession of first place. John picked Villanova to win it all though and the Badgers edged out the number one seed Villanova in the East bracket. John has a potential score of only 110. Dave Melcher has the best bracket at this point with a potential score of 165. Dave has North Carolina as the overall champion. The bracket challenge winner may be determined by whom ever picks the overall champion and the picks are all over the board with North Carolina (David), Arizona (Jean), Oregon (Haekyung), and Kansas (Jay). I expect a couple of sleepers at the bottom of the standings to move up next weekend (Pat, Chip).

Could be interesting if the Big Ten teams continue to perform and none of us had confidence in their chances of advancing.

If you predictions have been shot to heck but you still want a seat at the dinner table...

Jay is willing to expand the table for “event sponsors” who donate $200 or more to Polio Plus.   As noted earlier, Lynne Alexander has already signed on as a sponsor, and will contribute an additional $100 if someone else becomes a sponsor!

A big thanks to Jay for coordinating the bracket challenge, to Jay and Bridget for sponsoring the dinner, and to all who contribute to Polio Plus!
